I played on a server a few weeks ago where the USMC team was using the chopper to ferry people around the map and dropping them at the flag where they attacked on foot. This tactic was far more devastating and difficult to defend against the the hover cap that we've seen for so long.

Truth is, before all you had to do was hide, then run back out after the BH had flown away to recap. After their attacks there was no-one left alive to recap that flag.

Actually if your team was smart enough before the patch came out you could have realised that a few anti-tank missiles and a tank shell could take it down. You could also try capturing their main or flying the mec chopper into it
