Anyone read the Changelog?

I connect to any server and it's like some big surprise they are getting promoted and ribbons and badges etc...

It's just funny when you connect and the first words you see is "They changed the ranking system?!" :laugh:

Cripes you can read the change log while downloading it :)

Also the "New Update" window that pops up when you start BF2 is that something you can toggle? I mean it's asking if I want to install the 1.03 Patch and that's obviously the only way i'd see this message if I had 1.03 installed

Capt. Obvious would be proud of EA for this message box :), I know it's there for a reason and to test but c'mon :).

Anyways just had to get that offa' my chest :).

So get rid of it. There's a thread discussing it around here somewhere, I just can't seem to find it at the moment...............

If you don't upgrade to the new patch, would you still get the ranking at the new point levels?

If you don't upgrade, you can't play on ranked servers, period.
