Can you take over the enemies artillery ??

Last night I blew up the enemies artillery. It then got repaired so I went back and blew it up again, but this time I got points taken off for team damage and I was the only one around.

Even checked that the server hadn't swaped me to the other team whilst my back was turned.

Any ideas ?

it's a bug in the wake map. when your team has control of the airfield it act like team damage i think

it must be a bug on wake m8 cause the exact same thing happened to me also, i would destroy it then the commander would send aa crate or an engineer would come but i didn't notice if we had control of the airfield but i think the above poster is correct as i did it a few times before i got "Teamvehicle damage". so i would assume that we had control of the airport at that time.

Same things happening to me, but it's going to be so easy to point farm again now that Spec ops get points for blowing stuff up, unfortunatly no points for bridges.

I was playing Wake last night, we had taken the airfield, and the commander directed me to repair that arty, I was able to repair it, so apparently when you take the airfiled, you take the arty??

well one of the artys at the airfield is the US's and the other 2 are chinas

That seems about right to me. I dropped two C4 each on two of the artillery pieces (only had four on me). I blew all four at once. My screen showed "points for destroying command assets" twice and "team vehicle damage" once. This might explain why.
