Filters work you type in a map name like 'kark' ping like '100' and players like '30' and it will work but dont have too many of those ones on bottom....like not full and populated at same time...

I think most people are refering to the filters that you check at the bottom of the screen - not ones you type in.

As long as I do not change the check boxes - I can type in and find servers no problem. There are a couple regular ones I play on, now they are in favorites list so it makes them that much quicker to get to.....

Now if I could just make a script or edit the .exe to join the server right from the start it would be all good. There is a way to do it because xfire does it.

I will post up when I figure it out.

well, download BF2 auto-loader its very good... this program allows you to automaticly join a server when there is an empty spot... but dont have the link and i know someone will post it, if he can.
ps: punkbuster allow this program

No, I mean the filters about writing ping 100 and stuff like that, the filters that are below never worked, and they still don't , but in 1.02 the writing filter worked, now it doesn't work at all, even sometimes don't give me any server anymore and I have to restart game

The server name write in filter is kind of mess up, i type a server name to find it easier and it didn't came up, so i erase it, and refresh the list, and nothign would come out, and updating would not do anything.

yeah.... there wasnt even a problem for this before the patch you could still press enter and it would work...

The server browser is not working right for me. Waiting for BFautoloader to ger fixed.

Ditto, but I love the favorite server and server history areas. I had 2 CTD's last night, going to investigate why tonight, but I was able to get right back into the original server without having to remeber the name or IP.
