  • Selecting Creative X-Fi as audio option crashes BF2 to desktop

When i try to set my Audio to Creative X-Fi it crashes to Desktop as soon as i click 'apply'
i tried all variations: low , medium, high, and ultra, with or without EAX.

Every time theh X-Fi is selected it simply crashes to desktop.
The card works fine in other games, newest drivers are injstalled.

    Any ideas?

    Cheers,
    Pulsar

Make sure that X-Fi is set to Game Mode.

card is X-FI Xtreme Music (i know i can not choose the ultra high because it uses the XRAM which my card does not have).

The card is in game mode.

        Any more ideas?
        normal hardware mode works.

          *bump*

          I have the same problem with a X-FI Fatal1ty.

The card is in game mode, latest driver. Always CTD when enabled in BF2.

          thanks
