don't know if it's improved, didn't have it before, sed it sometimes but not enough.
Now I have it, and it is certainly a great weapon on long and medium distance 'still find the m16 better) and on close combat I find it good also, because is has like very low recoil
It's the best overall gun in the game IMO, it's better than the M24 for sniping.
lol, this is sad but true. I love it. Still cant believe they dont fix the sniper rifle. Lastnight i shot a sniper 10x him being still and he finally died. I swear this game is getting worse, or is it (worser)!

I don't see why everyone has problems with sniping. I do just fine and get tons of headshots. If I can't hit the head I'll try for the body and then pop em with my pistol or another round.
Worser is not gramatically correct so you were right initially.
I have noticed a dramatic increase in deaths from this gun. Either the damage/accuracy has increased, or since everyone got unlocks all of a sudden many probably unlocked that one if it wasnt already.
As far as snipers go, I'm not sure what's going on with them. I've dabbled in the past with the M24 and, almost without fail, was always disappointed. It was a case of go prone, line up a stationary target, fire... miss. fire... miss. damn he's gone. Nothing to do with bullet drop, didn't matter how long I waited before firing or anything like that and distance wasn't too bad either.
I unlocked the M95 and expecting to be further disappointed I was rather surprised to find I was hitting just about everything I was aiming at.
This might just be one of those things, there might have been something fixed in the last patch, or there might just be some screwy element in the game that sometimes means you can't hit the broad side of a barn with the stupid things while at other times it works great.

The PKM? I thought it seemed a bit more accurate over distance when I played yesterday. I hope this is true, because it was only good at medium range before.
Cool, Ill have to give my PKM a try again then, I stopped using it, didnt like the accuracy
I too just unlocked the M95, and I like it ok, but wtf is up with the precision on the sniper rifles? You can't aim those things for shieet!! It seems like it's impossible to get a headshot unless the target is lined up on your "scope grid..." This is annoying to me, and I know that if you move your body left or right you can line it up better, but wtf? For such a "hi tech" game engine, I think it could do much better.
