I've never had a problem with any patches and their affect on my game but now every single time i try to connect to a sever, it says "Joining Server" then crashes to desktop, i have a really nice pc and all. However during installation of the patch it said CDKeycheck.exe encountered a problme and shut down, but the patch still completed. I do have this game installed on another computer on my network. However i did not see any error messeges and please don't tell me to re-install unless you know what you're talking about but re-installing really is a hassle.

Try taking a look in this thread with related content and also the CDKEYCHECK mentioned. Maybe it is similar issue where the patch failed to encrypt your CD-key.

hey thanks, think the crash after trying to join a sever was due to that? I can also play singleplayer fine.Comment
