Prefix stuck for you?

It was stated that the prefix you select isn't stored/remembered, so why is mine still there? Hopefully it's just a glitch in the account server because I'd hate for my name to stay as "Uber FTA-Auman"

I had the same problem. I wasnt able to get rid of it, but I was able to change it. Right now its HORNY!. Dont ask me why. I guess im just a little immature. hahaha

Enter in anything you like as a prefix.

Delete whatever you entered

Connect to a server and magic, no more prefix.

Whatever stated it was a load of crap. It's stored in your profile on your harddrive.

Yeah, don't worry about it. To delete it, all you have to do it go into My Documents>Battlefield 2>Profiles>Global I think and just delete the text where it says prefix. That's what I did and it worked.

To remove the tag just fill up the 6 character box with whatever then backspace the characters and poof it erases it somehow.Log in and it's gone.
At least this is what I've been doing.
