Does my L8 shoot plastic BBs?

This a rhetorical question of course. Obviously it shoots something far weaker. Has anyone else had this experience? Am I just dealing with lag and/or hackers? I just unlocked it, played with it a little before the 1.03 patch, and a bit afterwards.

its a good burst wepon, not good close range it was my 1st unlock and i enjoyed it. same as all other unlocks just get use to it. i could take out a sniper befor he eavin put his crosshair on my head. (I dont bunny hop.)

L85 power is basically the same as the M16 except that you get full-auto instead of burst fire. Both need 4 body hits to kill an unarmored soldier and 5 for armored.

The L85A1 becomes hopelessly inacurate after the first shot. Try using single shot.

Yep, they said it before i could, only use auto at short, short distances. Recoil and deviation kill the full auto.

very true. the trick with it is you put it on full auto and when firing, tap your fire button. don't press and hold your left mouse button. just tap repeatedly. it's more accurate that way...

I hate the gun it was my first unlock, so I insantly made another account!
I wont even pick it up if I got the worst shotgun!

It the coolest weapon skin though!

Five shots to kill with it on single shot mode = could they nerf it any worse!

Yeah, I know. It's a shame every gun in this game doesn't shoot a billion bullets that can kill in one shot accurately.

It takes a lot of getting used to. And it needs large open areas. It's not very good for CQB. That said, I like it. It came in handy on quite a couple of occasions.

Its a great 'medic' gun. Stay back from the fire fight (like your supposed to) and pick people off. Then when someone gets injured, go revive them. You guys are just too used to being 'rambo' medics and using the assault rifle.

In time, you will get good and become a better medic than you could ever be with that assault rifle.

Its a great 'medic' gun. Stay back from the fire fight (like your supposed to) and pick people off. Then when someone gets injured, go revive them. You guys are just too used to being 'rambo' medics and using the assault rifle.

In time, you will get good and become a better medic than you could ever be with that assault rifle.

Whoa whoa whoa. wait a minute, you're telling me Rambo WASN'T a medic???!!?!!.. No way. He must have saved tons of afghanis while riding that horse of his and throwing cow skins all over the place. I'm 150% positive he carried an L85. And I'm 200% positive his L85 took out those russian copters. Gotta love Rambo

he is right its a really good weapon if you stay back and also as some one said tap the fire button aiming for the head or upperbody is a plus too i ussually get three shots if i do it right
