Anyone have a link that you can post here or PM me of the 2mb mini Image?. I think my disk was not correctly laid into the tray properly and it put a nice decent scratch in the middle of it as it spun it made a terrible noise. It still play the game fine, but I would prefer an image. I hope that I do not have to install the game again cuz I think the disk will be fried in the middle

That will work and also you can visit this site. They have some pointers how to make a mini image from your original DVD or CD
Daemon tools = virtual drive emulator
U can get that from download.com or just type in 'daemon tools download' in google. Very easy to find and a very small program. That works great.
BTW, no one has to post a download of a mini image. I dout the moderators want links to such things anyways.

And BF2 has apparently not blacklisted Daemon Tools so you don't even have to change the driver name (I did for Doom3).Comment

be warned though that if your disk is in a really BAD way I.E it has a crack on it or is very badly scratched and wont run at all then making an image of the crappy disk WILL copy over the defectiveness of the crack or scratch to the image and wont work, that is all.Comment

never put a cracked disk in a cd drive, its rare, but it could blow. Flying CD shrapnel+broken computer hardware=not worth the risk.Comment
