Prefix tag i cant delete it?

Ok I cant seem to get rid of the prefix tag now, there is no option on the login screen to turn it off, which I have been told there is? So can anyone tell me how to get rid of the tag?

can't you highlight it and hit delete or spacebar?

I found out how to make it go away, you gotta go into your Battlfield 2 directory and edit one of the .con's i forget which one, but youll see you name and prefix. Just delete whatever is between the quotations.

and does the prefix add the tag to all ur accounts? Cuzz all my accounts now, have the same tag?

Prefix adds a tag infront of you name so you don't have to make a new account when you join a clan.

Yes, it's on all of your accounts, you have to do what i said a couple posts up to remove it.

go into "My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\global.con and remove your prefix in there.

I was annoyed because mine went away each time I logged out - lol. Wish I had this problem.
