I was hoping this latest patch would allow one to search for different players even if only on ranked servers. I know you can now compare stats but is there a way to see if your buddies are playing anywhere on the Battlfield 2 network of servers. An option like this would really be helpfull!!!

As far as I know there is nothing like that in the game itself. So you will have to use a seperate application such as Xfire.Comment

Well its a great recomendation for the next patch or mod!!!! All we have to do is keep up a buzz about something like this and the EA guys who read this (i know they do) will get the hint.Comment

I dont even think they tried to address this in the patch (Too lazy to look up all the stuff they were doing with it)
But you are right in No Buddy list.
Although it would have been nice.
One thing that I am curious of... although know nothing about - Would having a buddy list avail ingame... and forcing all servers to constantly list their players (I imagine it would have to be a non-stop listing (Allways active) wouldnt this negatively affect ping on theserver? I imagine it would only be a little as you are only streaming the name of player data... but again. Just a curiousity as I have no clue.
t not sure of any negative affects on servers constantly reporting who is where in the game realm.Comment
