I am a First Sergeant now, but my rank progress bar isn't filling up. It's totally empty. What do I have to get to promote ?

I'm master gunnery sergent now and i have 2000 points over what you need for it according to the recent rank stats but my bar isn't filling however i am getting the points.
Maybe the server for it was over loaded and they shut it off for a bit.

Someone said there was badge requirements for certain ranks or something, that might be one but I wouldnt know since I already am one since the patch.

Badge requirements are for First Sergeant to Master Sergeant. I'm willing to bet the rank servers are going to be a little slow right now with all the updating and promotions.

I haven't played on a server that took more than 2 minutes to update my stuff...

i have no clue either. how many points do you have? i'm at 63000 now and still at first sergeant. meanwhile, ppl with less points than me is a sergeant major. it's not about badges either 'cos i have all the basic + some veteran and expert.

I think it definately has something to do with the badges. I have almost 80,000 and my friend had 58,000. He was Sergeant Major before me because he had all the infantry and vehicle badges. I was missing the air defence badge and was ranked as master gunnery sgt. Last night I took the time to get the badge (5 minutes in a round on air defence...boy was it boring and painful for me since I'm hyper). I got the badge finally and after I killed someone and was promoted to Sergeant Major.
