No way there will be a "recall" - probably just a 1.03b patch or something like that.

The patch has problems, not sure if these are reported elsewhere -

- I got TK'ed by the commander in an arty strike, but I still got the option of punishing him (should have been removed).

- I was a gunner in a BH, and someone was repairing it in mid-flight (should be impossible)

- the commander was dropping supply boxes to repair arty (should not be possible)

All these things should not happen after the patch, but I've seeb them all !!!

Also, I realy start wundering what the hell the dam beta testers actualy do, I think they just come on forums to brag over the fact they have the patch already, but don't report bugs and stuff, they are real loosers if you ask me.

they're dumb. well, not dumb DUMB but dumb in the sense that they don't really know how to QA this game. they should've released the "patch" early and let us test it for them. we're the ones who's gonna play anyway not them. if we see something wrong, we point it out to them and they fix it.

- yes, you punished him but the didn't get the punish points. meaning nothing happened to his score after you punished him.

- yes, you can still repair the bh mid-air. but not at the super lightning speed as before.

- i believe they never said they were going to remove the supply crate insta-asset fix


like i said MANY times - this really isn't a patch. it's more like an add-on pack (wake island). the red tag bug is still there... you still get killed by a vehicle if you exit immediately... the AA just fires quicker now but still can't hit anything (besided teammates, of course), etc. so nothing really was fixed. they just gave us a new map.

yeah whoa gunho sounds likea noob. teh commander cannot get a minus score, even though u punish him it wont effect him as far as i know.
it was never said that this patch would stop u from repairing in the air, now it actually takes determination and skill. apparently teh blackhawk guns were toned down which i think they have but i dont really notice it because i actually aim at people and tehy die always have. really this patch is kinda cool cause it stops all teh noobs from blackwhoring and only lets teh leet players do it.
oh yeah and wtf gungho since when did the patch say it was going to stop commander crates from reparing assets? sounds to me like you heard a crap load of "rumours" and hung onto them like a delusional noob who finally thought he could be leet for once.

The big problem I've seen is that they didn't fix TKs and on Wake Island I was getting Team Vehicle Damage when I blew up the enemy Artillery(yes it was the enemy artillery, I was American and the Artillery was at the airbase) We controlled the airbase when I kept blowing it up and it gave me 3 Team Vehicle Damages each time. When I blew them up and the Enemy controlled the base, I got points for blowing it up so here's another glaring error they missed. As far as Tks, I was using the Anti-Tank this morning and taking out choppers, 2 times I destroyed the choppers and I got teamkills when the choppers fell on the people below

On wake, the team that controls the airfield, owns the arty. Its odd, I know, but its true. The arty on the beach at the airfield, belongs to whomever owns the airfield. And...if they lose that flag, its still theirs, untill it gets blown up.

I don't know if this bug is new or what: I respawned besides squad leader who is at the edge of a hill. I couldn't contral my action and kept falling down the hill and dying.

Or maybe it is not a bug at all, just a new feature.

whats amazing is that in all of their controled situations all of these things didn't pop up and as soon as they release the patch its so widespread and open that you can't miss it...what gives? I just don't get that...

Yeah, too many rumours around about what the patch would/wouldn't do, some said it wouldn't, but I can see it does.

My mistake, I was also reading about the BF2 Realism mod - they nerfed the crate repair on this, got my wires crossed.

Well, that's because the SL was too close to the edge of the hill and you spawned on the hill in a spot that you would just fall down. Sounds like a bug because that just shouldn't happen. You should always spawn on solid ground.
I've actually wondered about this before but it's never happened to me.

actually we tested the game and played it as much as possible looking for any bugs. I personally didn't find any. nothing went wrong. to this day, nothing has gone wrong in my game due to the patch. (no "bugs and stuff"). it would've helped if there were actually enough beta testers so that we could play a real game more than once or twice a day.
ya...letz just start blamin bugs on beta testers now...

I think the far left of the 3 cannons (as you look out to sea) may well be US. I was playing as commander today on MEC and my artillery was down and unavailable but when I went over to repair it the left hand one was firing away happily and the other 2 were blown! It was a tad confusing, but may explain why you got team vehicle damage for blowing up that particular piece...
