c4 bug

I was really hoping this would have been fixed. But maybe next patch.

Issue 1.

You lay down C4 and switch to detonator and another C4 lands at your feet.

Issue 2.

You lay down c4 and are unable to switch to detonator.

I've had both happend pre/post 1.3 patch. It's rather annoying and the first has killed me and teamates to often.

Ah well, suicide is the only way out. except if they don't work.

its not a glich, its the user... i play spec ops a whole lot, and i never get that glich.

yea its a glitch,it doesnt happen all the time to me but sometimes it will happen

Ya well I tried laying 2 C4 packs in an enemy bunker and both of them would not blow up when I pressed the switch.
There definately is a c4 bug.

It's the infamous C4 panic bug, BF:V had this too.

I think it is a user issue, too.

The only issue I have ever had with c4 is when dropping the last pack. If you are not careful and hold the left button down too long, the last pack is dropped, the detonator comes right up, and is depressed = BOOM!

I spend the vast majority of time playing SpOps, so I've dropped a lot of c4.

Left button drops packs and detonates. Right button switches between detonator and packs. Hit the wrong button at the wrong time = BOOM!

Not a program problem. It's a user problem.

Yeah agree, nice call in the sig too. If i had a dollar for every person that doesn't know that i would not have to work for a while.

Yeah I want it fix! Now you need 500global c4 kills and 30 something IAR for expert c4...I have more then 1000 but I can't get 3something IAR thanks to the c4 bug

Just a little personal experience here...
Recently upgraded my computer and for some reason this problem went away for me.

On my old system: AMD2500XP Barton, 1GB Ram, ASUS A7N8X Deluxe, ATi 9800 Pro 128mb, WinXP Pro SP2. I would get this C4 bug all the time. (Medium settings @ 1280x1024 60hz)

Upgraded system: AMD64 3000, 2GB Ram, Epox 9NPA+ Deluxe, BFG 7800GTX PCI-e, WinXP Pro SP2. Now I have never gotten the bug. (High everything @ 1280x1024 @60hz)

I'm not saying its not a game bug, but it did seem to fix itself for me by way of upgrading my computer.

All I play is Spec Ops, and it does happen. I'm on the C4, drop a pack...right click and hit detonator...and a another c4 pack drops right in front of me.

what??? they didn't fix that too? so the patch basically was just a new map... :/

Asus P4-800 deluxe, Intel P4 2.8, 2gig Corsair PC3200, ATI x800XL. I don't think it's a system issue.
