some young lads in New Zealand are making a cool mod its called Z4 mod i think, it has 2 main racing style cars, the BMW and the Astin, it looks pretty cool

How can you make a creative mod when all you can mod is models, vehicles and maps?
It will only get truely original when we have better python support.
I have to disagree with you. Empires on bf42 is an example of heavily changing the code all through con files without any python support and getting a very good mod out of it. Its buggy I agree but the mod had so much potential and got so far with just using con files to make some very well made items.

Desirus, your post is OBVIOUSLY not very well said....there are mods out there that take place in the future, past, present, freakin tattooine...space...etc. What do you want.....purple dinosoars?
And just because they don't have your purple dinosoars....how the hell does that make all the mods crappy? The vehicles/weapons/maps etc. are DIFFERENT than the origonal games. Taking place in many different periods of time. And besides that many of the mods also change the gameplay.
