    post 1.03: Keyboard/Mouse conflicts

I was already upset that BF2 did not support key/mouse combo's for flight the way that its predecessors did. Now the patch has worsened this to more basic problems.

I use right mouse to move forward. If I have the right mouse key pressed, the following problems occur:
    1. cannot zoom minimap
    2. cannot open large map
    3. cannot open rose menu
    4. can open the score screen (tab) but can't close it
    5. no longer can "autorun" by moving forward and starting a chat line
    6. others I'm forgetting

Anyone else getting this? Complained about it? Found a workaround?

Yep just rebind your keys to the action you wish them to do.

Wow, I thought I was going nuts. I also use the right mouse button to move forward on foot and in vehicles and I have the exact same problems you have mentioned.
All other BF games and previous BF2 patches did not do this.
The only I can do any of those things is if I let up on the RMB.

Edit: Sharky, just rebind them to the same keys? ordifferent ones?

        Lol Dp

Edit ..I was forgetting I have a 510mx and have buttons bound to keys, keys that i altered from the original setup, and since the 1.03 patch I have had to rebind the keys to my settings before the 1.03 patch as the 1.03 patch defaulted keys buttons and joystick settings, some but not all. That will be as clear as mud ay.
But if the poster has a normal functional mouse I guess saying rebind is not much use "BUT" if the mouse is user definable e.g. extra buttons then rebinding may be of use.

I have the same mouse. I'll go that route and see if that fixes the problem.

I wonder if anyone else is SOL then?
