That's one thing I hate still..

Especially in Wake.

Well more likely, this is VERY nasty for mods like Forgotten Hope, just imagine it on current version. Ruins all map tactics..

Nasty for some custom maps too. Well yeah Vanilla BF2 doesn't have that much water, but \

Yes.

Well well.. It's pretty sad if you make a winter map and the player can swim in -20 water, and that far..

And you don't need to press W for that long, you can press chat so it swims by itselfs

I think the limit was about 30s in BF1942 and BFV, was it?

Yeah you eventually drowned, in maps like Midway or Wake always when just having swum from a sinking ship and being 2 seconds away from land :P
However, this is still a battle game, I cant see many people wanting to swim especially since when spotted your doomed.

every solider is tough enough to be able to swim for a day long...well im not the kind of player to try to swim all day long in wake to see if the guys is slower than normal.:rofl:
...even if i must wait till friday to download the patch, everything will be in order by then.
