EAX any good for stereo headphones/speakers?

I'm still trying to figure out the best sound settings for BF2 and my Sound Blaster Audigy2 ZS. Is there any point in enabling EAX if all I use are headphones and Creative I-Trigue 2.1 3300 loud speakers?

I'd say that EAX is even better with headphones. I was using a 5.1 system and switched to headphones to appease the wife, and it sounds great. I'm hearing stuff I never heard before - like guys sneaking up on my tank to plant C4.

EAX is ALWAYS a better option..if your setup supports it.
