I was just wondering scince there is alot of people that like playing with these new unlocks and easily achieved ranks. Who thought that the change was to drastic?

I for one didnt like the idea of changing the ranks before the patch came out but forums everywhere said it was impossible to achieve those ranks and awards. I didnt want to have them lowered because it would take away from the credit of those who worked really hard at the game to get good and go that extra mile, because now everyone has the same unlocks as he does, the same priority over commander and so forth. I know alot of people are going to talk about how Im a whiner and I should just accept how things were... but why the hell didnt you do that before the patch and just accept that!

I don't really care about the ranks so much as the unlocks. I thought it was cool that most people only had two or three unlocks(pre1.03), it made each player a little unique. The way it is now, everyone will have every unlock soon, what's the point of that?

The whole rank/reward system is a great idea, but it's been poorly implemented and obviously hasn't done anything to encourage team play.

It was amazing, i am in a server just joined it, 2nd map played since pathc came out, i ranked up like 5 times in 1 min, sweetness!!

Brillant move. I've always resented the amount of time required to access game content - if I wanted such a system I'd be playing an MMORPG, not a FPS.

The real benefit about this is that players will now stop doing stupid crap to reap in points and hopefully just play the game for fun.

The first couple of rank-ups before were fine, should have been 10k between ranks after that.

I guess they would know how slow people were gaining rank though.

It has it's pro's and cons now. May be more appealing to newer players and let's face it. The more players there are the more dosh EA make.

They need to work on a map pack with added patches for n00tube and bunnyhopping.

I definitely like the change. All time low of noob tubing, tho I'm sure they'll return once people start thinkin that unlocks arent the superweapons people made them out to be.

was very drastic indeed.

i would rather go back to the rank i EARNT and tbh i did prefer the medals when they were a challenge to get.

I guess the difference lies in if youplay for fun's sake or your definition of fun is being competitive. If I was a big point whore I'd be ****ed that every noob gained 4 ranks of me.
