So i was busy playing...as an american when this message comes up.

"You have been recommended for the Middle East Service Ribbon"

Now i was playing the US, not to mention i have just over 5 hours with The MEC.

Another messed up part of the patch? Or is it really easy to gain awards now? Or both?

I just play what side im placed on...and 95% of the time its the US

ya, these requirements were really high until the patch came out now everyone as these.

Who knows you dont get an in-game notification for that ribbon, same for the far-east sevice one. They just show up in BFHQ after a round.

You get that and the PLA ribbon after a hundred hours played and you are playing in one of the THEATERS...this makes me think that as long as you're playing on a MEC or PLA map regardless of what team you are on you would get it....

I was at Karkand before the patch..played as mec...get the ribbon to...Never showd up in a msg, but i don't care

I too got the middle east service ribbon, I was playing US on Zatar Wetlands. Already had the Chinese ribbon from previous rounds. The strange thing is that I have played MUCH more on the MEC maps than the Chinese ones.
