Yes, you just jumped three ranks with three kills. That's because you've already put in the 20 hours to make that many Global points.

These new rankings are just the way it should be. You play an RPG for 100 hours to get all the best stuff. You don't do it in an FPS. What matters in an FPS is skill. This was the next best thing to making all of the weapons available from the beginning.

They made a great game even better.

Now excuse me while I unlock my G3, M95, and L85whatever, on top of the PKM I already had.

I couldn't disagree more.
I think it was the dumbest thing they could do.

I like the fact that people may have had to work YEARS to attain general.
(Yea I'm sure there would be some life-less person who was going to do it quicker but whatever).
The point was...it was going to take the lifespan of the game to have many generals running around. That to me is great. Otherwise what's the point in having a ranking system. You may as well just make everyone the same.

The other thing is that I know ALOT of people that were playing just for the challenge of attaining the next rank for the 3rd unlock. That was going to be a milestone for them as far as the game is concerned. Now they may as well quit because eveyone's running around with (at least) 3 unlocks.

I haven't looked at the actual numbers yet but I Hope to GOD that they left the Hign End Game Ranks alone and where they were.
I hope they only made the lower ranks closer together. Otherwise this game and the attraction the ranking system had will be GONE.
