NOOB Question "Do I have to Subscribe"

Hello all,

Do I have to subcribe (Pay a membership fee) to EA or Gamespy? In order for me to play online. I am not interested in getting Rank,Stats or anything like that, but I just want to play online.

I have done searched, but can't find anything. Please advise before I take the game out of package.

Alos noticed alot of problems with update 1.03. Should I be concerned?

No, there is no monthly fee to play the game. You subscribe to gamespy inasmuch as it takes to create an online account to track your stats with, but it's completely free.

v1.03 is fine. No problems here.

1.03 is different and people are freaking out cuz they started off poorly on 1.03 and they are freaking out about it. just give it time and let people get used to less health and the more accurate weapons and more cartony graphics

Yes, you must pay me $50 bucks a month to play or I will cut off your Battlefield 2 privledges.
