Call me crazy, but I think EA made the patch worse for bf2 so that we would be more excited to buy special forces? Come on, why would they make the ranks so easy to get? I dont know, just what I think. I just really don't like the ranks, but they did a good job with the awards, should've made the requirements for the medals a little bit lower

Yeah, i actuall feel bad for those people whio have dedicated there lives (or at least there scoial lives) to getting these high ranks. I personaly don't mind, but i don't like the fact that everyone is running around with a pkm or a g36c, it just looks strange.

Dude you don't know what the Fack your talking about, I say I'm mad because they made ranks/medals easy, and you assume I'm a nerd? Go fack yourself. Check my stats, I play 1hr a day you tard. My friend who plays this game .36 hrs a day doesn't really care about his stats, is f@cking pist off the same amount, if not more than I am about this.

First of all...I was a tad bit disappointed seeing everyone getting high ranks. However, there is several other ranks that you can still be promoted to. I like getting the unlocks. I thought it was rediculous how they had this game that it would take almost 1 year to get all the unlocks. How many people are going to play this game 15 hours a week+ for a year to get all the unlocks. Now I got 2 unlocks in the game tonight. I am happy now. I also thought that most of my team that played tonight seemed to be more engergized and playing more like a team. BTW, if you think the L8 is for noobs? Ok thats your opinion. Obviously you haven't messed with the gun too much. Its not just a spray and prey type of gun.. u actually have to have a bit of skill.

I think this isw what alot of people are saying now. And I have to agree with you, there was such a movement toward "lower the ranks!!" and these awards are impossible to get" that forced EA into lowering them. In every forum I saw i posted that this is what would happen and it did, the ranks were lowered drastically and now i only need one more unlock until I have it all its toatly gay

Who cares if we all got high ranks now. Who cares if we get unlocks now. If you dont like what EA has done then stop playing BF2.

Or or or you can forget about ranks and go back to your stunt server like you said. I could care less about ranks anymore since alot of mods are on the horizon.

Sheesh, I sometimes wonder how people dealt with BF1942 when there were NO ranks. You guys have been spoiled.

I think it would just be fair if people who played more then others and are better at the game get showed a little more credit, even if thats by a little icon beside there name indicating that there one of the better players, and they deserver for there hard work an unlock and a new rank.

Yup, i was looking forward to making the 3000 or whatever i thought it was to make corpral. Within 1 kill, i was there. I was lucky enough not to get premoted after each of my other kills that round.

I think the new promotion scores are a bit to low but I like them much better than the way it was. I have played about 150 hours and wasn't even half way to Sergeant. How anyone could ever amass 150000 points without stat padding baffles me. There are not enough hours in my day.

The server browser is still the absolute worst I've ever seen. When you try to refresh it, it breaks. When you click a 200 ping server, the server refreshes and all of a sudden it's a low ping server.

The game is a FPS not some silly role playing game...half of you who bitch about it cuz the ranking is easy now would have prolly got bored with the game sooner or later anyways.... Pretty sure the game is about how you can hop in a tank (or what have you) and blow the **** out of your friends....it was never supposed to be about ooooooooooooo look how many points I have oooooo look at all my VIRTUAL medals ooooo look at all this made up stuff I won while playing a COMPUTER GAME
