I got the basic pistol badge and i was lucky enough that i didnt get the veteran one(Thanks God)

The only problem is that it didnt update yet, so hopefully if i am lucky i wont get the veteran badge, and i only get the basic.

Then i will get promoted hopefully

its hopeless for me then... i got to master sgt but i have no pistol, ordinace, or knife badge. i could prob get the pistol one but the ordinance i have tried a couple times no luck. and forget about the knife.. i think i only have killed someone with a knife about three times... ever...

Same thing happened to me with the command badges today. I recieved 2 of them in game but only one in BFHQ.

I got my basic badges and vet badges seperately. Today I was promoted to master sgt but no first sgt and I have all the badges. So whats the deal?

i see other people are gettint the same thing as me i captured one flag and got 2 ranks , this is very weird , will ea game fix the leak in the patch ?????

Yeah right. I just got it 3 times yesterday. And still haven't been promoted to 1st Sgt.

That seems correct. If you got vet. pistol directly, it looks like you're stuck at MSgt (at least for now).

thats true but we shouldnt be blaming anyone. ea/dice watever are doing theyre best its not like theyre purposely slacking off to give us the shytes. not everyone is perfect, i think bf2 is a great game, one of the few games ive ever bought. in every game, when you fix a bug a new one comes up, there isnt one game that hasnt got any bugs.

its like when they released the game, they didnt think people would sit in servers stat padding into the thousands, they didnt think people would get in a blackhawk and turn it into an untouchable point hauling machine, so they needed to fix it. they didnt know how long it would take for people to get thousands of points for ranks so they reduced them.
