good points, but I still really like the patch even if the ranks are too easy.

The only 2 things they MUST fix now are the bunny hopping... even if it's just a small adjustment. and the 203/gp-30 blowing up from no distance at all.

You are wrong on the accuracy and 'arcade feel'. They did not touch that or your health bar. So I tend to believe your completely wrong about everything else... sorry.

wont let me remove it ??? i restarted pc , still stuck , i login , nothing on my Prefix , BLANK , and i am in game , its there .. ???? cant be removed..

i agree too , with everything they fixed , its great but these bugs are a huge impact for me , since i take the game in more realism way then arcade way. But i still like it , from the things that work . But the things i listed no..

type something in your prefix even though it says nothing....then erase what you just typed in then log in. The only bugs i noticed are the game menu, and sometimes the spawn points are hard to click on.

fix for the prefix semi-bug:

1) in your file manager go to %USERPROFILE%\My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\ directory.

2) open up the file named "Global.con" with a text editor.

3) on the second line, remove your prefix from within the quotation marks, leaving just ""
... or change it to whatever you like

Kewl thanks. Have you tried adding a prefix longer than 6 characters here? Althought the UI won't allow more maybe modifying the .CON file will?

Same issue but that same person stays red [enemy] for the whole round for only , or as i was told by a clan mate others too. You kill them the kill counts as an enemy kill, not a TK! .. WTF?? but the other bad thing he is allowed to punish you !! "

Just got banned from a server because of this one =(

DONT USE PREFIX!!!

Odd, because I just read elsewhere someone else had the same problem. And where simply told to just delete the contents of the prefix box. They did, and it was sorted.

Prefix stays if you leave it empty next time you are logging in. Just fill the box and delete all the letters and prefix will disappear

I have absolutely no idea what this means, especially the first sentence. Are you saying if you TK someone they turn red and all your teammates will think they are enemy and will kill them, and when they kill them YOU get punished?

That just doesn't make sense. How in the heck could EA let something that egregious go unnoticed by beta testers and the like?
