Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
This new patch is sweeet!
Finally they realize that were not all computer geeks and can't play like 1000 hours to get an award or rank.
This was not an attempt by EA to level the playing field for those players that dont play often or the casual player. This is an attempt to promote a sense of boredom with the BF2 package while BF2SF is a month away.
You dont honestly think EA decided "hmm theres a number of players that dont play often and gain ranks as fast as those who do spend lots of time ingame... maybe we should give everyone lots of points and unlocks... why should we have casual players have to earn unlocks and ranks and remain such low ranks while there are high ranking players too"
Welcome to money , money runs everything and the potential for more money = u buy the expansion because u get bored of the game. The expansions a month away dude - there were too many people u speak of who " arent computer geeks " that wouldnt have had much reason to purchase the expansion because they still had so much to do / gain / unlock before this patch!
There are still glitches here and there but that's definitly an improvement over the earlier versions. Now more ranked maps would be welcome (1 map for a 2 months patch is a bit, erm, poor).

Just that we only need 2 things fixed before it's the best game ever:
stupid fake bunny hopping
and 203/gp-30 distance before blowing up.

are you
a) a computer geek who plays like 1000's of hours to get an award or rank.
b) serious gamer who takes the game way to serious.
c) both.
:p :p :p
some people just play this game to have fun and dont care to much about what ranks or unlocks they are or have, my opinion is simply that they have made unlocks easier for the majority of players who would not have otherwise had access to the other guns in their normal duration of play, so I say good to them for giving us more fun.
ya wow i was just looking at the old requirements for medals, WOW most time i have played any one game in my life is like only 500 hours max, then i move on to another game.
This reminda me of racing games for the Ps2 and xbox, to get the other cool cars you have to unlock them by doing stuff. I hate working for stuff in a gamewhitch i spent 50$ to have fun with. I buy the game to have fun, but thanks EA for the patch!

Every conspiracy, no matter how absurd, can always find at least one believer. Reminds me of what PT Barnum used to say about one being born every minute.
