BF2AL staff are reporting they're working around not being able to connect externally anymore, because of that annoying EA message thingy: http://www.bf2al.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=213

Till then, anyone know how this can be done? I've been able to do it with ASE and bf2connector wrapper, but i just cant stand ASE. BF2AL was so much nicer.

And another thing, dont wanna opena a new thread for this: Do you see something in that message from EA window? Mine is pitch black, save for the open, close buttons...

If you click the open button, it shuts down battlefield and opens a web page that is 404'ed right now. They didn't put in an option to turn off the messages, and it doesn't seem to flag if you've clicked on the open button or not which should tell the game user has view message, don't display again till there's a new one.

I can't believe these guys are programmers.

It looks like they fixed the problem with BF2 Autoloader. Hotfix is out now:Forum Link about hotfix, Download Link

For now, if it works, I'll probably be using this until ASE gets fixed. I'll use anything but that sorry excuse of an internal server browser.
