Weapon/Arms blacked out

I was recently promoted and given the option to unlock another weapon. I chose the G36 (?) as my unlock. However, whenever I load the game the weapon and my arms have no texture. Both my arms and the weapon are solid black. This doesn't occur with any other weapon I have access to. Has anyone had this happen to them? I'm using a Radeon ATI X850 Pro and running at 1600x1200.

try reinstalling bf2 and the patch, make sure to delete all bf2 directories.

try your graphic drivers first not the two gig game
do the smallest first then the large stuff if that fails, jesus i'm supprised he didnt tell you to reformat your comp :hmm:
