Nvm Major Lag With New Patch

I don't know if this is only one map, but i just played Srike at karkand on 3 different servers, i was lagging like crazy in each one, this never happend before, i usually get great fps. I was only playing a 32 player server to.... wow.

Probably just your connection, I didn't get much lag at all.

ive been getting disconnected left and right from tons of servers, and ALL servers show RED ping, ALL of em

plus, i got from cpl, to 1st sergeant, but now my stats havent updated for 4 hours, still cpl

Well i can tell you it is on your end, cause everyone is playing fine with out lag, there is some kind of a glitch i guess you could say, kind of like a lag, but more like a flash back, sometimes, and i'll see some stuff from now and then, like i was walking and i saw a body appear in front of me, and spin and dissapear, but more like just flash in front of me.

I found it really laggy after the patch installed, but then I quit the game and noticed I left bittorrent running. Perhaps you did the same?

The patch is not causing the lag. It's because there's a LOT more people playing BF2 today than usual

I don't know what they did but unless you have a really low ping to a server it's pretty much unplayable.

i've hardly notice any lag, but for some reason outa 4 servers i played on today 2 of them completely crashed lol, and every1 got disconnected ,but im pretty sure it was server side, not the patch and def. not client side

Two things;

Just as this forum is lighting up like 3 Linebackers on a MEC transort chopper....

There are gonna be a LOT of people playing today/ tonight. Everyone wants their new ranks / guns, etc..

Servers w/ multiple clans will be carrying much larger loads overall as everyone tries to sift through and find servers w/ open slots.
People will play on higher ping servers than usual just cause they can get in and the whole problem should swirl like a toilet bowl for a few days.

So expect some lag and I wouldn't blame it on the patch just yet.

Yeah a lot of people hate wake but I like it and I found a server running wake and S@K 24/7!
