Edit name???

Question about name Change, do I need to STILL!! create a new account to get my name changed, my in game name is [ReD]Ares and I have over 210 hrs playing and im a sergeant. I dont want to create a new account but the only option I see o edit my name is to add a prefix so that my name would look like opz[ReD]Ares. Is there something im missing any help would be appreciated.

Unfortunately, you cant edit your name if you wish to use different clan tags or such. This is one idea I think EA should implement. Maybe give everyone 1 name change?

Yes.

The only changes they made for "account" or "name" wise, is you can now add a 6 character tag to your name. But your name MUST stay the same.

ya, thats retarded, I wish i could ask what there plans are, so I know not to waist my time playing on that account anymore, but maybe it could be in that message that links you to a website url that is not active.

How do you delete the prefix you added?

Go back to the login screen and remove it.

Even if you see nothing in the field, add a character, delete it and then connect to a server to remove the prefix.
