I have 30,000 points right now and i havent DL the new patch yet, once i do what rank would i become?

All im reading on the other threads is that you dont have to do **** and you will gain a rank.

Go play and find out. Don't worry so much about your stats they are virtual and do not symbolize what kind of person you are in real life.

Not sure thats too accurate. I have not played the new patch yet, but there are other guys out there with 11k right now that are already Gunnery Sergeant at least so they say and they posted links to their profile adn sure enough it says Gunnery Sergeant. I am sure we will all know soon enough.

I have about 6000 points and I am Staff Sergeant, so that is quite a way off.

anyone know the new rank system (point wise)? there was another post and according to their source (bf2tracker i believe) it was significantly wrong.

they are still beta testing the new ranks for stat sites it will have all the updated pts and requirments for medals etc... could be more than a week

I'm Gunnery Sergeant at a score of about 16k, though the bar that shows how close you are to your next rank is completely empty, so something's screwed up.
