Just spent two hours trying to shoot down a jet, managed to kill ONE injured F-15...that's it. Helicopters are dead meat now though.

The AA sucks. I was on Dalian Plant size 32.
Took down 2 friendly helis and 1 enemy heli.
The missiles still aim for friendlies especially when firing after aircraft AND seem to do little damage to enemy helis unless they're flying towards you or away from you.
The missiles just miss if the helis are going say left to right at a few hundred meters away.
In fact in 3 rounds of Dalian I managed to shoot down more enemy helis on the stationary gun of a light vehicle than with the stationary AAs.Comment

oh yeah as far as the heat seeker TKs they aren't so bad anymore
like I said I did two hours on Daqing Oilfields using nothing but tunguska/bradley and didn't get a single teamkill but I did get I think 3 team damage msgs while trying to hit a jet with missilesComment

Damn those Bias HEAT seekers! lol They are HEAT seeking, not RADAR missiles. Actually my first game after installing patch I got in an AA emplacement & locked on a jet, Fired 1 missile & that thing went after that jet like a Rabid Scalded dog. Right in the tailpipe. I got bored waiting for any aircraft to come back around, so I went of to do some ground fighting. lolComment

It would be nice if the AA actually worked for how big of a missle magnet it is. If I wait out your flare drop and launch both with a solid lock, I really should hit with at least 1 missle. Its more like 1/10 hit rate though.Comment
