even if your not in a squad, do you still hear the commander say "artillery your area" when he fires it off?

Yes, along with the on-screen icon, plus the one on your HUD, plus the sounds of artillery being fired and dropping.

I am still at work so I can't play til tonight. Can anyone confirm that the commander doesn't get TKs now when he lays down artillery. I heard this was going to be in this patch and really want to know if its true. Thx.
