Message from EA popup & All seeing eye.

When I log into BF, it keeps telling me there is a message from EA. When I click OK , it closes the game and opens a web browser which doesnt load the page.

When I click close I can then visit the server browser.

But you would think the message would appear once, well it doesnt. It is always showing up after I restart BF.

The problem is now All seeing eye doesnt work because of this message.

Why does EA have to keep breaking things???

Yeah, ive seen this problem too. When i clicked on OK the web page opened and it worked but that was a few hours ago. But....how many are doing that ;-0 I guess the web server is cant cope with the amount of requests, bit like a DOS attack :laugh:
All seeing eye wont work becuase of the pop up, i dont know if they will be able to fix it without a hotfix. We will see

Same problem here.
Sucks.

I refuse to use the garbage in-game browser, which only shows me like 20-30 servers instead of the 500-800 I get with ASE.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that =)
I used that on launch when ASE didnt work, but got rid of it after EA fixed it.
Ill have to google that guy again (hope its still available for dl).

Just tells me "Invalid IP".

Here's the link to the BF2Connector Wrapper, although I have yet to use it myself.

I'm kinda peeved that ASE has been broken by the new patch, since I could never go back to the crappy BF2 server browser. It's just so slow and ineffective.

Yeah, it actually does work.
Im just dumb. I was using the old (1.0) version of BF2C, you have to use v1.1.
Anywho, it works like a charm now.

Its not as easy as simply hitting F9. After you close the message box, I think you have to type "BF2" in the server ip address, then click connect.

Ok well i tryed that and i got the message " You have failed to connect check your network configuration and try again " . I checked everything and its all in order. I swear this patch is starting to **** me off.
