    How to remove prefix?

    I added a prefix to my name to test for clan use and now I can not remove the prefix.. Help!

    Sadly you can't. They said that they will address that when patch 1.04 comes out.

          Yes, you can. I found out how.

          In your My Docuements\Battlefield2\profiles folder there is a file called Global.con

          Change the prefix line to be this
          GlobalSettings.setNamePrefix ""

            it does work. Used notepad to open and lab there was the prefix .

              I haven't had this, infact I have the opposite problem of it not holding the prefix....Not that I much care.

                  Instead of editing the global.con file to remove prefix, you can also type in something new in the prefix textbox, then delete it again and remember to log on. This should make it go away.
