I'm downloading from the EA page, along with 80% of the rest of the world....

Should have used a torrent!

connection don't come into it much on this one - if your in the UK everyone and their mothers trying to download it at the minute. Also, the only mirror without subscription is chocca.

Made a Google search for v1.02 patch filename. Found quite many sites which distributed that patch.

Went to first, and it was ausgamers, if I remember correctly. Under BF2 downloads, there was v1.03 patch. There was torrent as well. So I took it.

There were 2 seeds and 1 peer, and I got it at appx 500KB/sec, and it took less than 10 minutes.

Didn't even bother trying to DL from EA or similar sites...

I got the link in the first RELEASED patch here (not hte EA ftp, the dutch site), downloaded in about 30 mins, and also posted on various forums first that it was up (most notably GameArena), and got it finished before the Admin of GameArena had gotten it to mirror on GA.

First attempt was a half hour into dling and it died..

Second attempt was still going after 2 hours...

Just found that fileshack has it up now.. Mercury subscription, 6 min.. priceless

i got it from filecloud...waited half an then downloaded about an hour....now i dont get servers in the new and still useless server browser
