new patch what do you think ?

Personally cant see many differences or improvements other than the favourites added to server browser. Cant understand why the patch is so big.

they messed up with the ranks, lowered them way to much, EA realy has problems with doing something good, why do they always mess up.

OK, the stats needed to be lowered, but nowbody asked for this kind of crap

I haven't had a chance to try the patch yet, but I'll wager that patch size mainly consists of the new map.

Can you elaborate on the supply drops being visible? Can one now see them on the mini-map??

no it makes sense, the point is to eventually gain all the unlocks and not just one or too. the new ranks keep u motivated cuz u know u can actually reach them without playing 24/7 like sum of u 60,000+ pts do


obviously those same ppl who play so much are disappointed cuz they no longer are all dominant with all their unlocks cuz now a lot more ppl can try them too

and this really promotes teamwork cuz ur not like "points...must have points"

so i think its a good thing

I reckon they should have kept ranks the same.

If they want unlocks, then make 2 unlocks per rank, or something, but giving everyone master gunnery sergeant of the marine corps is just stupid.

I've now got 5 unlocks. I have got 150 hours on BF2, and if I got them during that 150 it would feel better than getting 3 of them "for free". I think keeping the ranks the same but giving more unlocks would make everyone happy, the noobs\unregulars that want the same thing everyone else does, but gives the hardcore something to aim for.

Had a quick play.

The Stinger "fix" is ********. Sure, they launch faster but still can't hit a plane. I went right over a stinger site in one (with someone who I told I was coming), nothing.

Turning, nothing.

Jet's will probably own the same amount.

Wake seemed "thinner" than I remember offline. But on playing it online it was good.

EA need to hotfix the spawn button. They changed it to a very small area that is often not in the actual button.

Wingsurfing\tank riding like BF1942 is still not gonna happen. You can get a resonable speed in a tank, but nothing heaps fast. Pretty much as soon as a jet starts moving forward you die. Helo I died quickly.

The supply crate thing is a godsend.

Well hey, it will benefit people like myself who work full-time and have a family. It would take me years to enjoy the unlocks that full time gamers get to enjoy...

Probably because it has a whole new level in it. I don't think the new sounds would add too much to its size.
