Re: Just got this game and a mic need help
Just go into sound settings, click on the VoIP box. Do a mic test and set the volumes so you stay in the green, if it goes red you'll break up. Then click on the Boost Mic Gain. You should be good to go, keep in mind ALOT of people won't use VoIP. So you may not get a reply even if you're working. Try different servers and if you see me out there I always have it on.Comment

Re: Just got this game and a mic need help
Battlefield 2. In the Sound options menu. Also you want to make sure your mic is working period. You do that in the Sound and Multimedia settings under Control Panel in Windows. There's a place to test your mic there also. If you run the mic test in BF2 and you get a response then you should be good to go. Also keep in mind that to talk you have to push "B" for squad members and "V" if you're a squad leader to speak to the Commander. You'll see a small green speaker icon pop up under the mini map when you press "B', if everything is working properly.Comment

Try making sure your mic is enabled and functioning in Windows. Go to Control Panel>Sounds and Multimedia, then test your mic under the Audio tab. I received your PM and I'll give you more specific intructions when I get home.Comment
