Hi there,

Just wondering after reading the patch info about people being banned by CD-key instead of IP address, this does just apply to each particular server doesn't it? I'd be pretty ****ed off, if some pimply little Mcdonalds worker of an admin banned me for nothing and stopped me playing a game that cost me 50 euros. I've been on some servers that banned around 15-20 people in one single game.

I've been banned a couple of times, for god knows what...one time I spawned into a game, ran around for about 10 secs, hadn't even squeezed off a shot, before I get told that I'd been banned for too many TK's etc...wtf?

Also what happens when you are banned, does that mean permanent ban? Does the server that banned you not show up on the server list anymore?

That would just apply to that server.

I don't know about the server list issue, it probably does show the server and won't let you connect to it.

it's a server setting. some servers will ban you for 10 mins others forever. during that time you cannot connect to the server, but it will still be visible.

Thats just a admin making room for him or a buddy.



Remember that the admin might payed for the server so you can play on it....

Some servers have stupid rules(like not stealing enemy vehicles) with strange admins
Just ignore those servers
They will die anyway after the hype, and only good admind servers will be populated.


I personnaly have never been banned so dont know what you do wrong.
