I just hit corporal and I got the G36C and OMG it owns. On strike at karkand I got like 25 kills real fast. I love this gun!

ya, its a very fast shooter and i liked it when it first came out for its accuracy, but after a while it gets to be annoying that it takes 3-4 hits to kill someone just like the L85A1. -

I havent played any of the other unlocks, but I have to agree, this gun is brilliant. I was a bit disapointed when I unlocked it cos one thing I really liked about the standard spec ops gun is the red dot and this only has iron sights, but now i'm used to them it's simple to take someone out from almost sniper distances, yet up close it rules too. Great gun.Comment

It's not very powerful so I don't see why you guys are raving about it so much. I didn't notice any difference between it and the standard spec ops gun in power. In fact the standard gun is a bit better since it has the laser sight. Anyway, the AK is truly the best gun in this game.Comment

Well it doesnt help me coz I can't aim but if you can actually aim I think it rocks ! It's awesome! You can single shotty guys in the head from 100 kms away. Joking.
No it rocks at close range coz of full auto and accuracy, it rocks at long range even more IMO. I often kill people who I can barely see. Definetly a cool unlock. I only play SF now.

You know what (and this will come as a shock to you) I don't actually care what my stats are. I play this game FOR FUN. Strange concept for you I know. However, before I bought BF2 about 3 weeks ago, i'd never played an online game and very rarely played an FPS even in single player, so if my stats aren't as good as yours, well, good for you, I hope that knowledge makes you warm and fuzzy inside. I got G36C and G3 and I must say, that G36 su***. It is accurate, it is fast shooting but it's stopping power is of a peashooter. G3 is a real gun, devastating everything from mid-range to CQC. I absolutely love it.Comment

There is no difference in damage.. if you are looking for a powerful gun, unlock the jackhammer or the G3.. This gun has almost NO recoil at all..Originally posted by AresComment

Glad u like your unlock.. And i guess i too will be using Spec ops and the G36 a lot more soon coz u get points for destroying commanders assets in the 1.03.
Still.. i've said it many times and i'll say it once again.I think the unlocks and the default guns are quite well balanced so it's not a question of which gun is the ultimate weapon, but which gun suits your style of play the best.
So don't expect to own DAO users with the g36 in the tight alleys of karkand and so on.
I used to like PKM alot before i learned to aim
and use the G3
