Re: Using Military Tatics in Battlefield 2
I don't know if this have been told.. but alright.
If you're a group of 4-10 (or more) people in an open area fighting the enemy.
Don't freak around running and trying to find a hiding place...
Let's say you're 8 people.
Do this:
2 starts advancing (forward, duh) while 6 are proned and giving them covering fire, the best is if it's two supports.
Then 2-4 starts advancing and the 2 who advanced before can give THEM covering fire.
The 2 who's left will make a advance to the support so they later can advance forward - past the 2-4 who advanced past the support... ehh, you get the idea.
Like this:
. . . . <- These are the four who advanced past the supports.
. . <- The supports.
. . <- The once who advanced to the supports.
And after the seconde advance of the supports.
. . <- The supports takes the lead.
. . . . <- The four takes the second place.
. . <- The two are left at the last place again.
And then they do this over and over again, probaly getting some kills and forcing the enemy to an retreat.
This is and will always be an good military tactic!
Setup would be:
2 supports.
4 assaults or 2 assaults and 2 medics.
2 snipers would be best, aight? But OK with assaults or whatever.
Try this out, it will work alright, but a tip: Always keep an anti-tank in your squad, otherwise you're lost when a tank comes... BOM, dead.
