locked squads

maybe people lock squads for their clan
maybe people lock squads for their friends

what other reasons are there?

i joined a squad in a teamplay server and some guy kicked everybody out of his squad so he can be by himself. he did get a good number of points but what was the freakin point? so he can order supplies for himself? request uav? if that were the case, why would having extra people on his squad prevent him from doing what he wanted to do. whatta loser. then at the end of the map, he says "can't take this noob team" and disconnected himself. killaflex if you want to play by urself grab some lotion and spank your monkey. :banana::banana: :banana:

Yeah. They are selfish idiots. The new voting system in the patch will put an end to their locking one man squads. Damn Goobers!

It's a real pain when there is a server full of squads that are full or locked so you have to lone wolf it.

I haven't seen a vote since the first round i played in the demo.

Votes generally are totally useless and not needed.

yea, i turned them off. Had enough of that on the few servers (that i played on) in BF1942/DC that had them turned on.

hehe, yeah unfortunately there isn't anything you can do about griefers in game if there is no admins playing. I reckon if they lowered the requirements for kicking it might be a bit better.

I make my own squads but i dont lock them, noone joins them at times. They do it so they can talk to the commander, like call for a "box" UAV etc. The thing is they dont want anyone bothering them for orders or follow them like a pack of ducks.

I used to lock my squad if I'm with specops going into suicide mission. Once 2 ppl spawned next to me (in c4 jihad jeep) without noticing them.... and I got 2 TKs. So the only reason if I lock the squad is when I don't what them to spawn on me.

I lock squad .. cause I usually play with my mates on the team .. and we're on TS .. and we really dont want anybody on our team .. if one askes .. we're tell him to get the VOIP or TS .. other than that we're not in cooperative mode with non hearable ppl ..

so if you meet the SBP ppl .. (Slovenian Black Panthers) try to be a bit affraid xe xe xe take care guys .. btw .. we're not the same ass S.B.P. squad guys ..

I play with a group of friends, we are all on teamspeak (voice activated). When 3 or more of us are on we always lock the squad. Its easier to glance at the map and see where everyone is and be able to talk to them, we also take turns as Squad leader. I will unlock the squad if the max numbers of squads are reached of if someone asks to join.
