You have to have a router and the internet, which you probably do, but if only one comp is connected to the internet the other computer cannot connect. Such as the "connect to IP" function only works if you are on an online account and connected to the internet. i'm hoping this will be fixed in 1.03, so you do not have to connect to the internet to play on a LAN. However once your in the server you may disconnect form the internet.
