i will be running an AMD athlon 64 4000+
1 gig ram corsair etc and a geforce 7800GTX also is it SLI compatable incase i choose to go SLI

Fortrons are usually good PSUs. Not the best, but it will do.

Well for £110, I would get a trusted brand.

Go with the SEASONIC, or if your into your L.E.D's try this one-

Fortron is a trusted brand. They have several PSUs that are highly reccomended.

The biggest concern for a PSU is the AMPs available on the 12volt rail. So decide on a PRICE & WATTs then select the model with the highest AMP rateing. I suggjest getting a model with no less than 24amps. The higher the amp rateing the more heavy duty the components & better heat dissapation.

Recently I have been forced to replace my PSU and did quite a study on them. From what I read on many forums it seems that Fortons are very good, but some models are quite loud. I chose a different brand, but I am sure you'll be happy with its performance. The only issue you may have may be the noise (if it matters for you).

i had problems with my thermaltake and bought a tagen 480w it should be more than enough for your needs :-) my has connections for SLI

Enermax and Coolermaster are top notch, you are not going to find anything better then this, not only very powerful PSU's but also the voltage they generate is at a very high and stable level.
