Japan had both a carrier and a destroyer in Wake, IIRC. I remember reading somewhere that the US will have a carrier and instead of a destroyer they will get a small island with a spawn point on it instead.

Pity -- I remember pummeling the shores with the Hatsuzuki. I miss the naval battles of BF1942. :)

I think it's been replaced by an Island. Carrier's still there.
