Ok lets say you are flying in a blackhawk and the pilot flies over a flag to cap it, you and like 2 others decide to jump out BUT there is other people on the ground already and they decide to jump in ur spaces you will most likely get frustrated so eh yea

BH Flies over flag > u bail to cap> someone else jumps in > bh flies off

make some friggin sense next time will ya..

One point , i haven´t heard anything about having to exit apc´s and such .....
ONLY Transport Helos .....thats what that EA said in an interview about the patch

Like, when you get out, you have a gun too, and maybe even an ANTI TANK rocket to help protect the apc/tank/jeep with. And you got a much better view and hearing, unless you care to much about your kill/death ratio, i dont see the problem.

Infantry on foot is much better at clearing an area then if they where all bunched together in a tank or jeep. You need to KEEP the flag, not just speed passed for teh uber 2 point extra.

I can already see the **** starting. Your team has 3-4 pieces of armor, and a few fast ground vehciles working together.

You get there first, the rest of them will say **** that, and continue on to the next base to get the points. They aren't going to abandon their tanks and take it on foot.

I know, in a perfect world it would work great. But with the players i've seen, they don't give a **** about teammates.

Also think about this: You and another tank roll into a base. You get in radius first, so he jumps out so he can get the points.

An enemy hiding there knows that might happen. So he hops in the tank, whacks your teammate. And kills you or serioulsly ****s you up.
If he could have protected your ass (and you his) from in the tank, that wouldn't have happened.

With the mentality of some of these guys, if they see someone already on the flag, they aren't even going in there or bother with it.

God damn it i'm so sick of people bitching about this. You've bitched about it enough to have EA change the ****ing game are you happy? No you bitch how they changed it.

There was never a problem with the BH in the first place. Any squad that is worht a **** can take down a BH faster than it can cap a flag.

THE WHOLE ****ING POINT WAS SQUAD BASED COMBAT YOU LONE WOLF FAGGOTS COULDN"T SEE THAT SO NOW THEY CHANGE THE GAME AND YOU BITCH MORE.

I dont think you get it.. the driver of a vehicle can cap flags.. but passengers inside the vehicle do not speed up the capping process.. so many vehicles together still makes for quick capping. At least, thats what i understand from the "leaks" and such.

I dont think you get it.. the driver of a vehicle can cap flags.. but passengers inside the vehicle do not speed up the capping process.. so many vehicles together still makes for quick capping. At least, thats what i understand from the "leaks" and such.

OK, flag cap radii aren't this massive 10 acre things. If you're near the vehicle you got out of, chances are if it blows up, you're dying too. And if you do survive, you're screwed if someone is still there. Of course, you don't see the inverse here. What if there AREN'T any AT people at that base? What are the passengers of APCs, gunners of tanks, going to do? They're going to have to get out and expose themselves to the n00bs that whined about the Blackhawk in the first place because they, to put it bluntly, couldn't decide whether to get off the train tracks or not if a train were coming at them from a mile away.

The fix is completely nullifying a wonderful feature the game had, one of the few we actually got that was promised to us, and now because people have whined and complained because they lost everytime, we're losing another feature that makes BF2 what it is. I'm sorry, but getting out of a vehicle doesn't increase your chances of survival. Exploding vehicles in this game are deadly to infantry, and if you're in the cap radius as well as the tank or light vehicle, you're going to die if it does. On top of the added chance of the APC exploding and killing you, you are now having to expose yourself to sniper and hand-held weapons fire which more than likely is going to be much further away from you, and with the inaccurate weapons in BF2, you couldn't hit them in 2 clips of firing. So instead of having an armored vehicle to help take control of an area, using the gun ports to fend off the sneaky C4 guy or picking off that AT guy that just put 1 rocket into you, you now nullify those and INCREASE your squad's chance of dying.
