This remembers me to a moment on the steam forums, there was a big patch anounced with two new maps (inferno & port) and there it became totaly waco, one thread was there called the same as this thread here en there where more then 20pages in it, only in like a few hours long.
Figures they would release the patch at a time when everyone will DLing it all at once. Maybe an unfair generalization, but I wager that a very large percent of people playing BF2 live in either Europe or America, so wouldn't it make sense to release it at a time like 4AM Pacific time or something, so that not everyone is going "OMFG 4PM MUST DL PATCH NOW." I think this is going to be murder on the EA site's bandwidth, but I don't know much about how the Internet works, so feel free to correct me. I eagerly await the "Where's the ******* patch" threads that will show up at 9PM GMT.

Also, i recently learned that EST is -5 GMT. Can't you just say -5 GMT then? Its really confusing to compare time when you are at GMT and have to compare it to some nicknamed timezone you have no idea where is.

Yea actually been to work for the last 4hours and on my break so have done something else the fact is these people get paid to do this job if I didn't do my job at work I wouldnt be working there much longer.
