I doubt you will even need to have the 1.02 patch installed to use this next release. 1.03 should replace all previous versions.

I hope so. I also hope fileplanet gets the 1.03 patch seeing as im a subscriber and i get everthing faster and no wait.

USA time's will be:West Coast 1:00pm,Moutain 2:00,Central 3:00, East Coast 4:00pm

You actually might be an hour off. The OP said GMT not BST. That would make it 5pm Eastern not 4pm.

should be the exact same time as the BF2 single/multiplayer player demo has been released. so more than 4PM East Hour. 3:45min to go ... get it for me i cant get it till friday ....... snif:cry:

How long did it take for a majority of the servers to upgrade to v1.02 from v1.00???

I think what you'll want to do is upgrade to v1.03 when your favorite server(s) do. Until then wait.

Probably be a couple quite quickly, but a good portion of decent servers probably won't appear for 24 hours.

I think I'll set time at noon (Eastern time here). So currently it's T-00:24 and counting.

Even if the servers don't update for a few days, I won't care. It'll give me time to test things in single player mode. See what bugs and everything have been fixed or changed.

Yeah If it comes out at 4pm EST you won't be able to download it untill about 8pm EST with all the freaks leeching it. Then you won't be able to find a server that has it installed yet. So even if it comes out today you won't be playing it untill tomorrow.

but at least i'll be able to read the changelog and try out the new things (via lan) with my buddies and roam around wake island etc. etc. etc.

oh, and if the speculation about reducing the point requirements for ranking is true, then, i'll be like first sergeant or something! :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

Based on information I was given last Friday the patch is not due tomorrow. I will check early on and update you one way or another whether it is coming on the 3rd.

get use to playing wake, probably ever server will play the new map, I should get home from classes around 5, gonna be a pain in the ass to go dl this patch more then an hour after it comes out, I remember waiting on the totalbf2 ts server for the demo, then letting a friend know when he got home from work that the demo was out, and he wasent able to dl it more then 20 kb/sec from anywhere on this T1 connection, I was luckly and dled it 300 kb/sec the minute it came out and got good speeds, oh well, really looking foward
