looking for a GeFroce, Creative, nForce4 driver combo that wont CTD!!!!!!!!!!

i am having nothing but trouble with BF2 on my new pc. I have a 6800GT, Audigy 2 ZS, and an nForce 4 mainboard. I am currently running the latest BIOS with 6.66 chipset drivers. I am running 77.77 video drivers, and i am runing 5.12.10.1162 drivers for the Audigy 2.

i have been switching this and that for a month now and i havent found a good mix. I am pretty sure it has to do mainly with my soundcard but im not positive.

all this is on an amd64 3500+ also if that has anything to do with it.


i hate this, all my other games run fine, but BF2 is seriously fed up the bunghole!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:cry:

The beta forceware 78.05 drivers work well for my geforce 6600GT..you can also try out the NGO drivers because they are optimized for performance (just google it up). I dunno much about chipset and sound drivers though..

If you have an integrated Marvell-Yukon Ethernet controller, go to the Marvell website and download their latest set of drivers. MS Updates recently released a buggy driver that causes crashes.
